Celebrity Edge which is a new class cruise ship joining the Celebrity Cruises fleet this year will debut earlier than expected.
We were all expecting one of the most anticipated new cruise ships of 2018 to debut in December from Fort Lauderdale, Florida but now Celebrity Cruises has revealed the Celebrity Edge will arrive much earlier. The new innovative cruise ship which is still being built will debut with preview cruises in November 2018 out of Port Everglades.

5 new preview cruises starting from November 21 have been added which can be booked. The first four sailings will depart Port Everglades and will last 3-nights calling at Nassau, Bahamas. The fifth newly added sailing will depart on December 9 and it will be a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise calling at Key West, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Grand Cayman.
Celebrity edge is currently under construction at the STX France shipyard. Things are looking good there and the ship will be arriving much earlier. Once complete the new Celebrity ship will be 117,000 gross tons and carry 2,900 passengers at double occupancy.
