The ship will debut her new look as the Carnival Radiance with a 10-day cruise from Barcelona, Spain on April 29, 2020. The Sunshine-class vessel will sail a series of cruises out of the Spanish city before arriving in New York City on June 25.
Carnival Radiance will offer eastern Caribbean and Bermuda sailings from the Big Apple before repositioning to Norfolks in October 2020 and then finally Port Canaveral, Florida to sail Caribbean cruises starting on November 8, 2020.
All this means the name Carnival Victory will be no more just like her sister ships the Carnival Destiny which was transformed into Carnival Sunshine in 2013 and the Carnival Triumph which was transformed into the Carnival Sunrise in 2019. Carnival Victory entered service in 2000 for Carnival Cruise Line and was built by Fincantieri in Italy.
