Carnival Corporation has announced a partnership with Meraas to develop a new cruise hub for operations out of the United Arab Emirates and this includes the development of a major new Dubai Cruise Terminal.

Carnival and all its cruise brands have another new cruise terminal to look forward to. Thanks to a partnership signed with Meraas a new hub of cruising will come to Dubai with a large development which current ships and future larger ones can dock even call home.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum witnessed the singing of the agreement to move Dubai into a leading cruise hub. The partnership covers a port development, terminal management and new cruise development opportunities at Dubai Harbour and the broader region.

Dubai Terminal Details
The facility for Carnival cruise ships and sister brands is set to open in October 2020. The terminal will be part of a much larger project at Dubai harbor. The area will include two cruise terminal spanning a total of 30,000 square feet. They will be joined by a single quay of about 1 kilometre, capable of accommodating up to three cruise ships concurrently, including Carnival Corporation’s newest and most advanced cruise ships, as well as up to 13,200 passengers at a time. In anticipation of an upsurge in cruises, Meraas has planned for the addition of two more terminal buildings that will increase capacity to six cruise ships at the same time.
