Carnival Sunshine Calls At Portland, Maine For First Time

Carnival Sunshine which is operated by Carnival Cruise Line celebrated its inaugural call at Portland, Maine during its Canada and New England sailing.

To mark the occasion a celebration was held onboard the 103,900 gross ton vessel.  A traditional maritime plaque exchange between the ship’s officers and port officials took place. Inaugural plaques are usually displayed in a public area on the ship where guests and crew can take a look. That’s not all, port officials also presented local lobsters which were then prepared for a special dinner onboard.
