Carnival Cruise Lines has announced that the Carnival Splendor will be sailing out of Miami starting on November 9 2014. This will add another cruise ship for the popular port in Florida. It will also make it the seventh ship from Carnival which will be sailing from South Florida.

The 3,006 passenger vessel will be sailing Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises alternating each week. The ship will sail 7-day voyages starting from Nov 9 2014. The Eastern cruise will include calls at St Thomas in the US Virgin islands, San Juan, Grand Turk and Nassau in the Bahamas. The Western cruise will include stops at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Mahogany Bay in Isla Roatan. The ship will depart it;s new home port every Sunday.

The Carnival Splendor will end its duties sailing from New York with two special eight-day cruises before its new home port deployment in Miami. The ship will first set sail from New York to San Juan on October 24 2014 and then a second cruise departing New York for the very last time on November 1 2014.
