Carnival Paradise has resumed cruises after being out of action for a month. The Carnival cruise ship completed a huge multi-million dollar makeover dry dock where new features and enhancements were added. During the refurbishment, the ship received a new water park, 38 new staterooms, 98 balconies added to existing accommodations, and exciting food and beverage concepts.

Carnival Paradise Makeover

Now that the Fantasy-class vessel is back in business from March 26 guests will be able to experience the latest renovated Carnival ship with the very latest updates that the cruise line has on offer.

Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, said:

“We can’t wait for our guests to check out the fantastic new features aboard Carnival Paradise, which returns to service better than ever offering an exciting combination of itineraries featuring top destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and Cuba.”

Carnival Paradise was brought in-line with many other ships in the fleet with the FUN 2.0 upgrades including the popular venue of Guys Burger Joint. What made this upgrade so major is the newly added staterooms and a new large Waterworks on the open deck. Let’s take a look at all the things which were added during the dry dock operation:

Guy’s Burger Joint

A free-of-charge poolside venue developed in partnership with Food Network personality Guy Fieri serving hand-crafted burgers and fresh-cut fries enjoyed amidst a décor that celebrates the chef’s California roots and love of car culture.
