European Cruise Lines See COVID Issues On The Rise

While Cruise Lines sailing in Europe appeared to be relatively safe from significant issues so far, this week Costa Cruises had to cut a cruise short and MSC Cruises was not allowed to disembark passengers in Malta.

The Spirit class ship Carnival Legend has completed its dry dock and now has some great new features for guests to enjoy! The ship is now back in service sailing from Tampa, Florida.

Along with the usual FUN 2.0 upgrades the Carnival Spirit also features a new Green Thunder water attraction which is the only one of its kind in North America. The slide has a big drop which is 34-feet long! The slide is 187 feet long where riders can slide up to 25 miles per hour. The ship had it;s dry dock in Freeport, Bahamas and it was a multi-million dollar effort to upgrade the ship.

The Carnival Spirit is now sailing from its usual home port in Tampa, Florida until August 17th where it will begin a new journey to more unique ports of call. The ship will sail a 13 day Panama Canal cruise which will end in Long Beach, California on August 30th 2014. A trans-pacific voyage will begin from Long Beach on 30th August and ending up in Sydney, Australia 23 days later on September 22nd 2014. Amazing ports of call will be featured on 8 and 12 day cruises in the region.
