Carnival Horizon will Sail a Series of Short Cruises to Bermuda

Carnival Cruise Line has announced that its upcoming cruise ship the Carnival Horizon will sail a series of short 4-day cruises from New York to Bermuda.

The cruises will be offered on the second Vista class ship during its inaugural season ouT of New York in 2018. The shorter itinerary will be offered when the new ship sails from the Big Apple in the Spring and Summer of 2018. The newly announced shorter sailings go along with previously announced itineraries in Europe, New York, and Miami.

Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, said:

“These visits to Bermuda are part of Carnival Horizon’s terrific inaugural schedule that also features top destinations throughout Europe and the Caribbean, providing our guests with opportunities to create wonderful and fun memories together,” she added.

Bermuda Itinerary Details:

The Carnival Horizon will depart its homeport in New York each Thursday on May 24, June 21, July 19, Aug 16 and Sept 13, 2018. Guests will be able to enjoy a full day on the island along with all the brand new features the vessel will have available. The ship will also be sailing Caribbean cruises from New York until its repositioning to PortMiami in September 2018.

Carnival Horizon is currently under construction at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Italy and will be a total of 133,500 gross tons and will be able to carry 3,936 guests at double occupancy. The vessel will debut on April 2, 2018, with a Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona, Spain.
