Carnival Dream Going Through Major Refurbishment In Freeport

We’ve been keeping track of Carnival Dreams major upgrade and today here are the latest photos of the ship.

The latest photos from the past couple of days show the Carnival Dream being enhanced and upgraded to be even better than it already was. The ship which is the first in its class is getting some much-needed attention at the Grand Bahama shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas where new public spaces are being added, take a look below:

The ship doesn’t look like much right now but will look already for the first passengers on February 12. Carnival Dream will go back to regular service out of New Orleans sailing Caribbean cruises. The ship will be showcasing the newly added Guys Burger Joint, Alchemy Bar, Blue Iguana Cantina, Pizzeria del Capitanoand Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que. Plenty of painting, carpeting and new decor will be among the enhancements which we did a post about last week.

Carnival Dream is a 130,000 gross ton vessel and started a new era for the cruise line when it was built in 2009. The dry dock started on January 29 and will be completed on February 11, 2017.
