Carnival Cruise Ships Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday

Guests on Carnival cruise ships celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday with added activities and goodies to enjoy.

Across the Carnival fleet, Dr. Seuss’ birthday is being celebrated with all kinds of additional activities and goodies for guests to enjoy. no matter what Carnival cruise ship guests are on the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel isn’t being unnoticed and it ties in well with the Seuss at Sea program which is expanding even further on the newest ship Carnival Horizon which we’ve detailed here.

Families enjoyed birthday celebrations aboard each ship, complete with Dr. Seuss-themed treats, fun giveaways, a balloon drop in the atrium, appearances by The Cat in the Hat and more.

Today’s festivities complement the many activities offered in Seuss at Sea, a fleetwide program featuring exciting youth, family, dining and entertainment experiences inspired by the amazing world and words of Dr. Seuss.

Even Carnival CFO (Chief Fun Officer) Shaquille O’Neal got in on celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday. It might be short but sure is fun!

The program includes such fun activities as the Seuss-a-palooza Parade and Story Time and The Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast with The Cat in The Hat and Friends, as well as character interactions, Dr. Seuss toys and games and popular movies shown on board.

Carnival’s newest cruise ship is also featuring a large Dr. Seuss water park which will expand the partnership even further. The open deck feature will have new water slides and water splash areas, something for all cruisers to enjoy.

Theodor Seuss Geisel who was born on March 2, 1904, would have been more than proud of what the brand has accomplished and that thousands of Carnival guests are experiencing his creative vision throughout the fleet.
