The retail space on Carnival cruise ships is hotting up with a new state-of-the-art shopping experience on Carnival Spirit which is based down under in Australia. The new experiences come after the Spirit class ship just completed a major dry dock which we previously posted about here.
New Retail On Carnival Spirit
The new retail experience on Carnival Spirit is by a partnership with Heinemann Asia Pacific. Spaces include a range of well known international brands and more local ones for the Australian market including Seafolly, Quay Australia, Swarovski, Swatch, Lacoste and Clinique.
This is the first time Heinemann Asia Pacific has operated onboard an Australian based cruise ship and it’s thanks to a current deal where the group operates the stores on Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Liberty and Carnival Ecstasy which are based in the U.S.

Carnival Cruise Line is split up when it comes to onboard shopping with different companies running the stores depending on which ship. One of the largest is Starboard Cruise Services which many years ago operated stores on all Carnival cruise ships but now not as many. The company which is based in Miami is also partnered with the cruise line for Carnival Horizon, the newest ship in the fleet.

Carnival Spirit Resumes Cruises
The vessel resumed her service out of Australia on June 25, 2018, and it is the first time the ship is showcasing all her new features since the 2-week dry dock in Singapore. The ship is sailing year round itineraries from Sydney.
