We’ve been keeping readers updated on the Carnival Breeze dry dock and here are the latest photos with just a few days to go.
The Carnival cruise ship is currently in the final stages of a two-week dry dock at the Grand Bahamas shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. Workers have been doing their magic day and night to get the large ship ready since it first started refurbishment on April 16. Everything will be all set for April 29 when the Carnival Breeze leaves dry dock.
Latest Dry Dock Photos:
As you can see in the latest photos we’ve been sent, the ship is coming along nicely with many of the public spaces now in the final touches. The new Alchemy Bar and Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que seem to be just about done. Work on the ships hull is in full swing with new fresh paint ready for its first cruise back in action out of Galveston, Texas on April 30. The ships first sailing with all the new enhancements will be a week-long itinerary with calls in Cozumel, Belize City and Roatan Island.
If you haven’t already, take a look at our first set of photos half way through the ship’s refurbishment and then again just two days ago. It is always nice to see the process of the upgrades which also included general technical maintenance, new tiling, carpeting and a lot more.
