Carnival Cruise Line is testing snacks at the popular Alchemy Bar on two of the newest ships in the fleet. We could soon see this rolled out across other ships which feature the bar venue if it works out successful.
New Carnival Alchemy Bar Snacks
The pilot scheme is being tested on Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon the two newest and largest class ships in the fleet.
Guests on these ships can enjoy small plate dining options at the bar which is located on the promenade deck. There are some nice dishes to choose from which can complement all those cocktail concoctions at the Alchemy Bar.

Each dish costs $4 but of course, this could be adjusted if it rolls out to other ships. The Alchemy Bar snacks options include a trio of oysters with mignonette, roasted berries and pickled scallion, Ahi Poke with whipped avocado, sesame, koshihikari rice and ponzu wakame, Crispy Shrimp with sriracha aioli and chive dressing and a Smoked Brisket Slider with parmesan truffle fries.
The dishes compliment the popular cocktails which the lab-coated Carnival mixologists come up with. Right now the dishes aren’t on any menu but this could change once the pilot scheme is complete.
The Alchemy Bar was first introduced on Carnival Cruise Line as part of the FUN 2.0 upgrades. The first bar in the fleet was added to Carnival Liberty during a major refurbishment in 2011.
Carnival Vista currently offers cruises out of Port of Galveston, Texas and Carnival Horizon sails Caribbean cruises out of Miami, Florida.
