Carnival Cruise Line Steakhouse Price to Increase

Carnival Cruise Line is going to increase the price for the steakhouse across the fleet starting from September 20, 2018. The news of the hike came from Carnival Ambassador John Heald.

Carnival Increases Steakhouse Price

The cruise line is increasing the price of the steakhouse which is on the majority of Carnival cruise ships. The price has been $35 for a long time and now the new price will be $38 per person. This is the first time the cruise line has increased the price in over five years. John Heald who is the Carnival Ambassador posted the reasons for this increase is due to the higher food costs, most especially prime beef prices.

You can take a look at the steakhouse menu right here.

The changes go more in-depth with tweaks to the menu and you’ll be happy to know that thanks to high demand the Cheesecake is back on the menu. The specialty dining venue which isn’t found on the smaller Carnival ships includes an appetizer, salad, entrée, dessert, and even side dishes. Guests also have the choice to tip the amazing first class waiters in addition to the new $38 fee.

The steakhouse includes a children’s menu for ages 11 and under, this costs $12 but for Family Harbor guest children it’s free! the kid’s menu was previously $10.

Carnival will start the new steakhouse price from September 20, 2018, but if anyone has pre-booked before that date they will still honor the previous price.

If you haven’t experienced the steakhouse on Carnival it really is worth it. You get to enjoy a 5-star service in a relaxed setting with very good steak and seafood options. When celebrating a special occasion this is the place to do it.
