Carnival Cruise Line will be offering a 14-day round-trip Carnival Journeys cruise from Long Beach, California to Alaska in 2018.
Carnival Splendor will sail a 14-day cruise to Alaska departing Long Beach on August 25 and returning on September 8. The itinerary will be breathtaking with all the amazing views to be expected when sailing in Alaska including calls in Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, Sitka and a full day in Victoria, British Columbia. The ship will also stop at Hubbard Glacier and Icy Strait Point.
The carnival journeys voyage is different from most regular cruises where guests can really get to know the local culture. During the voyage, guests can get involved in a wide range of activities related to different ports including a 1980s-themed “Throwback Sea Day”.
The 14-day Carnival Splendor cruise complements the line’s wide-ranging Alaska schedule that includes a two-week-long voyage round-trip from Long Beach aboard Carnival Miracle in September 2017 and 38 seven- and eight-day voyages aboard Carnival Legend in summer and fall 2017-18.
Carnival Splendor is the only ship in its class in the Carnival fleet and can carry over 3,000 passengers. The ship will transfer to P&O Australia fleet in late 2019 but until then bookings are now open for the announced 14-day Carnival Journeys sailing.
