Carnival Cruise Line has introduced a brand new beer onboard its newest cruise ship the Carnival Vista.
To celebrate American Craft Beer week the cruise line has introduced a brand new beer onboard Carnival Vista. The new “Miami Guava Wheat Beer” is exclusively brewed onboard the newest and largest cruise ship in the fleet.
Carnival Vista’s expert brewmaster Colin Presby, said:
“Since Carnival Vista began sailing from Miami, I’ve become fascinated by tropical fruit and Cuban cuisine so I’m beyond thrilled to create this new Miami Guava Wheat in honor of American Craft Beer Week for our guests to enjoy.”
The new beer is limited on the Carnival Vista and can be enjoyed in the ships RedFrog Pub & Brewery. The new beer is inspired by the ship’s homeport of Miami, Florida. Miami Guava Wheat reflects the tropics with a light body and palate-pleasing notes of tangy pink guava, the primary ingredient in Miami’s ever-popular guava pastries.
The RedFrog Pub already features some popular beers which are all brewed onboard including ThirstyFrog Port Hoppin’ IPA, ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat, and FriskyFrog Java Stout.
Carnival Vista operates six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises from PortMiami to the Caribbean and will shift to Galveston, Texas, in fall 2018 when its sister ship, Carnival Horizon, launches year-round service from Miami. The ship is the largest in the fleet at 133,500 gross tons. A sister ship named Carnival Horizon is coming in 2018.
