Carnival Cruise Line to Introduce New Stateroom Category

Carnival Cruise Line is introducing a new stateroom category which will feature on the line’s upcoming vessel Carnival Horizon.

The cruise line is introducing a new stateroom category onboard the upcoming Carnival Horizon which arrives in Spring 2018. The new category will be Aft-View Extended Balcony Cabins. The ship will also additional feature 18 tropics-inspired staterooms within the popular Havana section.

The new aft-view category will cater to families with a bright modern feeling which will blend in well for Caribbean cruises. The staterooms will feature large screens, TV’s, complimentary breakfast and snacks.

The 18 new Havana staterooms on Carnival Horizon will be located aft on Deck 6, 8 and 9. The staterooms will be Cuban inspired and they will feature exclusive access to the Havana area onboard including a bar and pool.

Carnival Horizon is currently under construction by Fincantieri in Italy. The ship is the second Vista class at 133,500 gross tons and carrying 3,934 guests. The maiden voyage will depart Barcelona, Spain on April 2, 2018, and will be a 14-day Meditteranean cruise.

Carnival Horizon will begin cruises in the U.S. out of New York on May 2 and will then finally reposition to its year-round port in Miami, Florida for Caribbean cruises from September 22, 2018.
