Carnival Cruise Line has hosted a sold-out crowd on one of its ships to country music superstar Carrie Underwood.
When the Carnival Imagination called in Catalina Island Seven-time Grammy Award-winning country music superstar Carrie Underwood rocked the vessel to a sold-out crowd. As part of the Carnival Live program, Carrie Underwood performed in the ships Dynasty Lounge on Tuesday evening. The show completes a year-long partnership with the music star.
Carnival Live is a series of live shows by well-known performers. This year the series has already featured performances by best-selling country artist Tim McGraw and popular comedian Jim Gaffigan. Still to come in the weeks ahead are shows from country artists Little Big Town and comedians Jay Leno and Jeff Foxworthy. They will be on seven different ships which depart from the U.S.
Performances for Carnival Live are usually held in the main show lounge where 750 to 1,400 guests can enjoy the one of a kind experience. Regular ticket prices start from $30 or guests can get special access with VIP tickets at $100.
Carnival Imagination is a fantasy-class ship which is sailing a 4-night Carnival Live cruise. The itinerary will come to an end on April 6 back in Long Beach, California. The ships next scheduled voyage will be a normal sailing with no superstar performers.
