Carnival Cruise Line’s second Excel-class vessel, Carnival Celebration is beginning its multi-year partnership with the leading cruise retailer to offer the most expansive retail selection across its fleet.
The partnership is delivering first-at-sea brands to the ship’s unique retail spaces, integrating merchandise concepts with entertainment experiences, and designing custom-made products to be featured onboard.
The Ship’s New Experiential Retail Concepts
Carnival Cruise Line’s anticipated ship, Carnival Celebration is partnering with Starboard Cruise Services through a multi-year partnership to offer new experiential retail concepts, featuring the line’s most expansive retail selection.
The line’s partnership with this leading cruise retailer and LVMH MoรซtHennessy company is setting the bar high for its guests, delivering first-at-sea brands and offering interactive elements catered to the ship’s environment.
As the ship begins its inaugural cruise season on Monday, November 21, 2022, its public shopping spaces are offering new retail concepts with entertainment experiences and custom-made products unique to the line.
โWeโve developed, designed, and curated engaging retail offerings, including many first-at-sea launches as well as sustainable brands and products that exemplify inclusivity for Carnival Celebration,โ said Lisa Bauer, Starboardโs President and CEO.
โBringing Carnivalโs brand to life, Starboard delivers an exciting assortment of Carnival-branded merchandise with a really fun in-store experience โ a perfect tribute to our 30-year partnership,” Bauer added.
The Carnival Store, located on Deck 8, is offering an experiential activity where an interactive retail installation changes as guests walk over it; guests of all ages can enjoy its fun-filled options such as floor hockey with the Carnival funnel or riding on the shipโs BOLT rollercoaster virtually.
New Retail Offerings Onboard
Launching first at sea on Carnival Celebration, Gorilla, a cutting-edge watch brand founded by Octavio Garcia, is being sold onboard, all to be powered by Miyota automatic mechanics and high-tech materials such as carbon-fiber cases and titanium.
Gorilla’s collection on the ship will offer guests its Fastback Espionage Limited Edition collection of watches, with only 500 manufactured worldwide.
Cuban-founded timepiece brand, Cuervo & Sobrinos, is also being sold in the ship’s Swiss timepiece shop as it launches its luxury watch brand for the first time at sea.
Brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Gucci are being sold on the line’s first standalone shop, a dedicated Luxury Vintage Boutique at sea, promoting responsible fashion by offering luxury handbags, accessories from What Goes Around Comes Around, and one-of-a-kind gifts from Tokens & Icons.

The merchandise collections are bringing the cruise line’s bestselling items over its 50-year history to fruition, with inspiration from the shipโs diverse entertainment venues.
Its 50th Birthday merchandise that sold out in March is relaunching and only available on the ship until the end of this year, including the 50th Birthday Monopoly game and โpiece of historyโ souvenirs.
