Carnival Allows Havana Bar and Pool Access to Grand Suite Guests

Carnival Cruise Line is now allowing access to the Havana Bar and Pool area for Grand Suite and Penthouse guests. This is for the two newest Carnival cruise ships which only have the Havana spaces.

Havana Access Given to Grand Suite and Penthouse Guests

From this weekend, guests who book a Grand Suite or Penthouse will be able to use the Havana Bar and Pool area. This will only apply to Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon which are the only ships in the fleet which have the exclusive Havana deck area.

According to Carnival Ambassador John Heald, some guests had not been happy about paying so much money for a grand suite and not being able to use the exclusive Havana area during the day.

The area which is located at the aft on both ships is only open throughout the day to guests who booked a Havana stateroom. The Havana space is a bar with room for tables and dancing along with an area for live music.

As the space moves to the open deck, there is a pool and two jacuzzis on either side which Havana guests can enjoy for themselves just in the day. The Havana Bar and Pool does open for all guests at night. The ship will often hold parties and special events at night which any guest can attend.

The Havana Pool deck has often been a place where Havana stateroom guests could get away from the busy lido deck pools. On sea days the lido deck pools can be extremely busy and it’s difficult to find a free deck chair. At the Havana area, there is a stunning view of the ship wake at the aft and access to the bar.
