P&O Cruises is sending Arcadia for a major refurbishment at the Blohm+Voss shipyard in Hamburg, Germany. The British cruise ship is entering the dry dock at end of October to get a total refresh with work being done all across the vessel. Highlights during the major dry dock in Hamburg include enhancements to suites, piano bar, spinnaker bar and The Belvedere food court. Many of the public spaces and lunges will be modernized with new decor and designs. New concepts will be introduced and the ship will also get new carpets and furniture, soft furnishing refreshes, fixture and fitting upgrades and elegant new color schemes and a lot more.

A major part of the refurbishment will be updating some important areas onboard including the Aquarius pool and bar, main atrium and reception, oasis spa, Intermezzo and suites.
