Big Changes Coming to Carnival Triumph Including New York Cruises

Carnival Triumph will offer new itineraries from New York, Fort Lauderdale and Norfolk in 2019, Let's take a look at all the details along with the ships planned refurbishment.

Carnival Cruise Line has now decided what to do with Carnival Triumph, a cruise ship which recently failed USPH inspections and hasn’t had such a good time in the past. The Carnival cruise ship will mark a new era in its service offering a mix of options from multiple ports including New York for the first time.

This will be the first time Carnival has offered mixed itineraries and deployments for one ship like this. They are trying this new approach with the Carnival Triumph and the this brings plenty of new choices for cruisers in the United States and beyond.

New Carnival Triumph Itineraries

Let’s get down to the details of Carnival Triumphs new itineraries and schedules which will begin in 2019. The ship will be sailing to popular destinations throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas, Canada, New England, Bermuda and the Panama Canal. The ship will be based from several ports including those in New York, Fort Lauderdale, and Norfolk.

Carnival Triumph New York Cruises

The Carnival cruise ship will offer 4 – 14-day itineraries from the Big Apple starting from May 2019. The itineraries will be a wide range sailing to Bermuda, Caribbean, Canada and New England along with Panama Canal.

Carnival Triumph will start with five 4-day sailings to Bermuda departing New York on May 23, June 20, July 18, Augst 15 and September 12, 2019.There will also be a 6-day cruise to Bermuda departing on September 16, 2019. With a mixture of options, Carnival isn’t stopping there with even an 8-day cruise departing on June 24 which will also include a call in Grand Turk.

Starting on September 22, 2-19 the vessel will kick off the first of three 7-day cruises from the Big Apple. The other two will depart on September 29 and Oct 6 with calls to New England and Canada.

Carnival Triumph will be providing an option for two different exotic 8-day Caribbean cruises. These sailings will depart on various dates starting on July 2 and the last departing New York on September 4, 2019. Expect popular cruise destinations including Grand Turk, San Juan, Amber Cove, and St. Thomas.

The cream of the crop from Carnival cruise line will be the 10-day and 14-day itineraries from New York. These are both one-time voyages with the 14-day a Carnival Journeys special. The 10-day cruise will depart on June 10, 2019, and sail the Eastern Caribbean, the 14-day voyage will depart on May 27, 2019, and includes a call in Colon so that guests can see the Panama Canal.

Carnival Triumph Fort Lauderdale Cruises

Carnival Triumph will also be deployed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a range of short sailings to the Caribbean and Bahamas. The ship starts these cruises in April 2019 and then continue again of its New York Deployment in November 2019 through April 2020. The ship offers 4-day cruises from Fort Lauderdale calling in Nassau and Carnival’s private island resort of Half Moon Cay, both in the Bahamas. The 5-day cruise departing on Saturdays will call in Grand Turk, Nassau, and either Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays in the Bahamas. Another 5-day itinerary which departs on Mondays will call in Jamaica and the Cayman islands in the Western Caribbean.

Carnival Triumph Norfolk Cruises

The Norfolk deployment will be more limited than cruises out of New York and Fort Lauderdale but will become a great choice for cruisers in the region. Carnival Triumph will offer 5 and 6-day cruises to the Bahamas and will depart between May 12 to October 20, 2019.

What Does Carnival Triumph Offer?

The ship isn’t one of the newest but still offers the latest FUN 2.0 features including the hugely popular Guys Burger Joint. Other features onboard include the Alchemy Bar, the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Cantina Tequila Bar, and the BlueIguana Cantina. The ship will also undergo a major multi-million dollar refurbishment before these new itineraries in 2019. That means to prepare for even further new features and upgrades which will no doubt make Carnival triumph among the best in the fleet.
