Behind the Scenes at Norwegian Escape’s Aqua Park & Ropes Course

Norwegian Cruise Line have posted a brand new video showing some behind the scene footage of Norwegian Escape.

The video was filmed while NCL’s largest ever cruise ship was under construction and Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Andy Stuart takes a look at the Norwegian Escape’s Aqua Park and Ropes Course area while under construction. All we can really see is a ton of boxes and equipment while Andy explains the settings. Many features mentioned were not completed until the large vessel floated out of the construction hall due to the height.

This video is just one of many now being released ready for the ships big debut this October. The Norwegian Escape is now undergoing sea trials in the North Seas after a succesful conveyance through the Ems River from the shipyard in Papenburg. Final preparations will then continue for the first guests.

The Norwegian Escape will begin sailing all year round from Miami, Florida on November 14th, 2015. The ship will sail Eastern Caribbean cruises including calls at St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands and Nassau, Bahamas. The ship 164,600 gross tons and the biggest ever to home port in Miami.
