Royal Caribbean has posted a new behind the scenes video from Liberty of the Seas while undergoing a major refurbishment. The ship is getting a ton of added features and enhancements as well as technical upgrades at dry dock in Freeport, Bahamas.
As Cruise Hive previously reported the 3,634 passenger ship will receive the new Perfect Storm waterslides, a collection of slides offering a different type of thrill. The collection of racer slides include Tidal Wave, Cyclone and Typhoon, they will be added to a new water park at the aft on deck 13. The Perfect Storm will also be featured on the cruise lines upcoming Harmony of the Seas. Splashaway Bay for the kids will also be added on deck 11 to offer more water park options than before.

The 154,400 gross ton Liberty of the Seas will also great new dining options including Giovanni’s Table, an Italian style restaurant and Sabor, a modern Mexican cuisine restaurant. There will also be 26 new Panoramic Ocean View staterooms as well as an additional 53 staterooms throughout the ship.
Once the refurbishment is complete the vessel will continue to sail 7-night western Caribbean cruises from Galveston, Texas in February 2016.
