Another two cruise lines in Europe have decided to cancel even more sailings due to current travel restrictions around the world.

Carnival Cruise Line have posted the first of many videos that show the Carnival Vista under construction.

The new videos will keep track of the cruise line’s upcoming cruise ship all the way until it makes its debut in 2016. The video above is episode 1 and takes us around the Fincantieri shipyard Malfalcone, Italy which is where the Carnival Vista is currently being built. You can see at just how large the ship already is along with all sorts of work being done by shipyard workers.

The host of the video Peter Gonzalez can be seen taking a peek at all the steel before it’s attached to the ship. He visits the shipyards Fabrication Bunker where the steel is first put together. A lot of work goes into such a big project like the Carnival Vista which will be Carnival’s most innovative and largest vessel.

The Carnival Vista will be 133,500 gross tons once completed in Spring 2016. The ship will carry 3,936 passengers at 1,055 feet long. The debut voyage will set sail from Trieste, Italy on May 1st 2016. If you would like to see what the ship will look like then you can watch a virtual tour.
