Local staff can be seen clearing the area on Palancar beach which is located on the southwest side of the Mexican island. According to a local site two Alligators were seen on the beach but only once decided to go into the sea. Near the beach is Cozumel’s┬áPunta Sur Eco Beach Park which hosts all kinds of wildlife.

Cozumel is full of thousands of cruise ship passengers every day and many of them flock to the beaches. Just beware the next time you laying on the beach getting some sun!
