Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has only had one ship in its fleet but we can look forward to Grand Classica joining and expanding the cruise line in April 2018. With the new addition to the fleet, Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will be able to offer more options from the port of Palm Beach in Florida.

Grand Classica Joining Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line

The small cruise line which already has the former Carnival cruise ship Grand Celebration will soon welcome Grand Classica in April. Tthe ship is formerly known as Costa neoClassica and part of the Costa Cruises fleet before being purchased by Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.

The cruise line will actually be the only one to offer daily cruises from Port of Palm Beach with the two vessels carrying around 500,000 passengers annually. Grand Classica will begin sailing from the port on April 13, 2018, all year round. The ship will sail short cruises to the Bahamas just like sister ship Grand Celebration.

Oneil Khosa, chief executive officer of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line, said:

“At 52,900 gross-tons, Grand Classica complements Grand Celebration nicely. There are several additional public spaces – so we are excited to add some new offerings, as well as bring all the popular outlets that we have on Grand Celebration for consistency with our guests.”

“Having two ships sailing daily to Grand Bahama Island will also give our guests the flexibility and convenience to take advantage of a two-night getaway any day of the week. Our daily departures also add a number of options to our unique Cruise & Resort Stay offering, with guests able to add any number of nights at a Grand Bahama Island hotel.”

Grand Classica Refurbishment

The ship has already undergone a major refurbishment before joining the BPCL fleet. The ship was renovated back in 2014 and again more recently in October 2017. The ship is just about ready for the US market with new features and venues for Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line passengers.
