Star Cruises Orders New Large Ship

One of the main Cruise lines in Asia called Star Cruises has ordered a new large cruise ship. The company has made the order with Meyer Werft in Germany who will construct the vessel. Star Cruises is mainly dedicated to Asia with home ports in China and calling to destinations like Taiwan and South Korea. Elderly Passenger Disappears From Sun Princess Ship

An Elderly passenger has disappeared from the Sun Princess cruise ship which is operated by Princess Cruises. The ship was sailing up the Kimberley Coast in Western Australian on Tuesday when the 72 year old male passenger went missing. Sun Princess was sailing towards Darwin at the time. The mans wife reported him missing which started a search conducted by the ships crew and there was no trace of the missing passenger onboard the ship. Aida Cruises Names New Ship Aidaprima

The German cruise line Aida Cruises has announced the name of it's upcoming ship. The ship will be called Aidaprima which is currently being constructed at the Mitsubishi shipyard in Japan. Aidaprima will launch in 2015 and will sail year round from the Germany port of Hamburg. Normal Sailings will begin on June 20th 2015. Norwegian Escape & Norwegian Bliss To Be Names Of Breakaway Plus Ships

Norwegian Cruise Line has today revealed the names of the cruise lines two upcoming Breakaway Plus class ships. The two names were from a list of ten which were posted on NCL's Facebook page in September. Facebook fans could choose their favorite name and Norwegian Escape and Norwegian Bliss were the two most popular choices. Costa Diadema Makes Construction Milestone

Costa Cruises upcoming cruise ship the Costa Diadema made another major milestone in it's construction process. The ship has had it's large yellow funnel and the name section hull installed. These two areas of the ship are the first of many main parts which will come together over the coming months to make the ship as a whole.
