Another Perfect U.S.P.H. Score For A Carnival Cruise Ship

Another perfect United States Public Health (USPH) score has been achieved for Carnival Cruise Line after an inspection earlier in November.

The Carnival Freedom scored perfect marks after a U.S.P.H. inspection while the ship was at Galveston, Texas. All 44 areas passed on the checklist giving the ship 100 percent. Inspections by key personnel including the CDC visit ships that call to the United States twice a year, all aspects of vessel sanitation and procedures are checked. Often the food storage and waste is a major focus during the inspection.

At times the crew usually have to work extra hours if a U.S.P.H. inspection in expected. Extra cleaning is done and a reminder for crew members what the procedures are by senior ship staff.

Carnival Freedom is a 2,974 passenger ship sailing to the Caribbean from Galveston, texas on four to seven-day cruises. Cruise Hive would like to congratulate the crew onboard.
