All Oasis Class Cruise Ships To Feature Water Slides

It’s being reported that Royal Caribbean will be adding water slides to all oasis class vessels.

Royal Caribbean CEO Michael Bayley stated, saying that “I’d like to bring water slides to the Oasis-class – on Allure and Oasis as well, all four ships (a fourth ship is due for delivery in 2018).” The next oasis class cruise ship Harmony of the Seas, which is scheduled to be delivered in April 2016, will already have water slides featured onboard so there is a chance that the other vessels could get the same. Harmony of the Seas will be the fourth vessel in the class and is currently under construction by STX France.

The site also mentions that water slides could come to the Quantum class ships that, include Quantum of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, and Ovation of the Seas in 2016. Most other major cruise lines feature water slides and in recent years, have become even more thrilling. Royal Caribbean has gone more innovative by introducing more unique features on its latest vessels.

What we also like about the report is that Michael Bayley liked the thought of having a Ski Slope onboard! He says: “But I’d like to see something like a ski slope (in a ski dome) like they have in Dubai. You could ski from the ship into the sea and create a lagoon for people to ski into.” It seems Royal Caribbean could become even more innovative as the new CEO takes the cruise line into the future.
