6 Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships Being Refurbished This Year

It’s a really busy year for Royal Caribbean, with 2 huge new cruise ships making their debuts and 6 ships being refurbished it’s hard to keep track! The cruise line has released a new video explaining the refurbishments.

The six cruise ships which are being renovated through 2016 are Liberty of the Seas, Empress of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Majesty of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, and Radiance of the Seas. All the ships will undergo a major dry dock at the various shipyards around the globe.

Liberty of the Seas has already completed its refurb where new features were introduced including the new Tidal Wave water slide. Empress of the Seas which is making a return to the fleet from Spanish based Pullmantur Cruises is currently going through a very delayed renovation but will begin service on May 28. Jewel of the Seas is starting its dry dock this month where the ship will get some much-needed attention. Majesty of the Seas will get its dry dock as we get to the Summer months and then Adventure of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas later in the year.
