2 Carnival Ships Delayed Due To Adverse Weather Conditions

The Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Valor are both delayed due to bad weather. Carnival Fantasy is based out of Mobile, Alabama and Carnival Valor out of Galveston Texas.

Bad weather conditions hit the region which caused both vessels not to arrive back at their home ports as scheduled. One crew member from the Carnival Valor told us all the chairs on lido were locked down and all port hole covers were closed. The ship was also sailing through some rough conditions.

So Carnival released itinerary adjustments for both ships and you can take a look at the details below:

Carnival Fantasy

The ship was scheduled to arrive back in Mobile on Monday morning after a 5-night western Caribbean cruise but the weather has forced the cruise line to make adjustments for its next sailing.

Carnival Fantasy will be sailing a shortened 4-day cruise due to its late arrival back into Mobile, Alabama. The ship is set to arrive at around 11:00 AM on Tuesday. The new itinerary will only include a call in Progreso, Mexico and will not be calling in Cozumel.

Carnival Valor

The ship had to take a long way around to get back to its homeport in Galveston, Texas. Carnival Valor was scheduled to arrive on Monday morning but has been delayed.

Carnival has posted the ship will be arriving into Galveston at around 10:00 PM on Monday but this means the next 5-night itinerary has been changed. The vessel will now be sailing a 4-day cruise departing the following morning on Tuesday, January 24. The ship will be calling in Cozumel, Mexico only.

Guests will be getting any funds back for missing the original port of calls and also have the option to refund if they wish.
