Royal Caribbean have revealed details about Voyager of the Seas upcoming multi-million dollar revitalization.
The 137,000 ton vessel will bring many new features which have proved popular on the oasis class ships and the upcoming Quantum of the Seas. Voyager of the Seas is the largest cruise ship to sail out of Australia and will be doing so for the Australian summer cruise season.
The Australian cruise market get to enjoy the very latest onboard innovations that Royal Caribbean is so famous for. Included will be the popular FlowRider where real oz surfers get the chance to try it out! Other new features include the Virtual Balconies and the 3D movie theater.
Voyager of the Seas will go into dry-dock in October 2014 in Singapore. The upgrades are expected to take a month before the ship goes back into service on November 30th 2014. A one-off re-positioning cruise will be offered to guests from Singapore to Sydney stopping at Darwin along the way. This will be the first time passengers can cruise on the large ship again plus all the new improvements.
During the dry-dock all the hotel department will be improved which is normal. The refurbishment will be done to give the vessel a fresher look and feel.
