Good news for UK cruisers as Thomson Cruises has announced that it is to invest in upgrading the Thomson Dream and Celebration.
The British based cruise line will modernize the vessels even more just like it did in 2012. The ships are to receive improved public spaces which would probably mean a refurbishment of most onboard hotel operations. A dining experience will be enhanced including a brand new Asian-themed a la carte restaurant ‘Kora La’, offering delicious Indian and Chinese cuisine on both ships.
Helen Caron, Managing Director of Thomson Cruises, says: “Listening to our customers is at the heart of all our planning, which is why we are investing further in both Thomson Dream and Celebration to give passengers an even better experience on-board. We are confident customers will love the enhanced dining experience in the a la carte restaurants and the overall new look of both ships.”
The investment will also feature a cool new place onboard where passengers can chill out in a new sunbathing area. The Thomson Dream will go one step further with a new food offering and décor at ‘Terrace Grill’, ‘The Explorers’ Lounge, The Coffee Port’ and ‘Tides Bar’ will all replace old lounges to offer something new and exciting to guests.
Thomson have not yet released and more details on when the upgrades will occur.
