Over the weekend Cunard Line had a huge event to celebrate the company’s 175th anniversary. Thousands of people watched the festivities along the River Mersey in Liverpool.
One of the biggest highlights of the 2015 cruise industry is the huge event on Liverpool’s River Mersey on May 25th.
Cunard Line has already started to bring the entire UK cruise industry together thanks to the entire fleet celebration the cruise lines 175th Anniversary throughout 2015.
2015 marks the 175th anniversary of Cunard Line, and they plan to mark the occasion with some very special events including all their ships meeting in Southampton and Liverpool. But it isn’t the first time the fleet of Queens have got together.
The Magna Carta, will be going on display on board Cunard’s flagship liner, Queen Mary 2 and sister ship Queen Victoria between May and September 2015.
Queen Victoria which is operated by Cunard Line has set sail on its world cruise not long after its major refurbishment in Hamburg, Germany.
Cunard Line is continuing its fleet upgrade with a multi-million refurbishment scheduled for January 2015. The Queen Victoria will have a dry-dock at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg, Germany.
