The P&O Arcadia cruise ship has just completed its multi million pound refurbishment with many new upgrades. And the good thing is that’s its just in time for Christmas! This is an ongoing effort from the British cruise line in updating it’s fleet.
The video above shows highlights of the improvements which is the largest upgrade that P&O has ever done. The ship upgrades were done at the German shipyard in Bemerhaven.

Theres been lots of changes onboard including the popular lounge and bar called the Crows Nest which has got new decor and an improved bar experience. The onboard shops have been improved with new spaces for more specific brands. The Globe lounge has had some upgrades too which includes a new lighting system.
One of the best new improvements during the ships dry dock is the new single cabins which is great for guests cruising by themselves. The Arcadia is the only ship to have these new cabins so will be a good choice for singles. In total there are 24 new cabins on deck 10 of the ship which is called sun deck, These includes the single cabins.
P&O Arcadia is now also featuring “East” which is a new dining venue with Asian dishes. Some dishes will be from Michelin-star celebrity chef Atul Kochhar.
