Most Expensive Cruise Ships.
Heres a selection of some of the most expensive Cruise Ships ever constructed. We've compiled the list from doing a lot of research all over the place but as newer and bigger ships are built the list will change.  We have started with the most expensive going down to the least expensive. Ten ship will be featured as we can't include every single ship out there!

Oasis of the Seas does actually look like it's worth over a Billion due to it's size of 222,900 gross tonnage which would make it a massive 40% bigger than the previous holder of "Worlds Biggest Ship" Not just that but the mega liner can hold 5,400 passengers and 2,700 crew! The Titanic is a fishing boat compared to Oasis of the Seas.

Independence of the Seas is a Freedom class cruise ship and is like a floating mini city. The ship is the second biggest in the world and one of the most popular class ship ever! It's 160,00 Gross tonnage and can hold over 3,600 passengers.

This ship was the first Freedom class ship to be built and broke a new record as being the biggest and most inovative ship ever but will soon loose it's title when it's sister ship Oasis of the Seas enters service. This ship can hold over 3,600 passengers.

The Queen Mary is one of the most popular Ocean liners out there and inside the ship is just pure luxury. The ship is 151,400 gross tonnage and can hold over 3,000 passengers. Queen mary mainly sails all around the world with it's home port in Southampton UK.

The Solstice is the only Celebrity ship in the list but wont be the last. This ship was 2008's best rated ships and is 122,000 gross tonnage. Also it can hold over 2,800 passengers.

The Carnival Dream will be the biggest Carnival ship ever built at 130,000 gross tonnage. The ship will also be able to hold over 3,600 guests with all the popular servuces and entertainment the Cruise Line is famous for.

For some reason the Splendor cost more than we thought! The ship is slightly bigger than the popular Conquest class ships which Carnival have so many of. The Splendor is 113,300 gross tonnage and has a guest capacity of over 3,000.

Another Royal Caribbean ship and Mariner of the seas is part of the Cruise lines popular Voyager class of ships. This ship was the last one in the class to be built and is 138,00 gross tonnage carrying over 3,00 passengers each cruise.

The Splendida is the only MSC ship in the list but the Cruise Line is building a lot more ship so there will probably be more to come! this Italian style ship is 130,000 gross tonnage and can carry almost 4,000 passengers which is a lot for that size!
