Carnival Cruise Lines has been rated the most improved brand in the U.S. by YouGov’s BrandIndex. The report is based on Consumer perception and buzz within the United States.
The rankings report which comes out mid year shows Carnival as no.1 and is double the amount improvement from the company which is in second place on the report.
“Carnival not only brought its consumer perception back in line with the rest of industry, but their sales potential, indicated by consumers who say they would consider the brand for their next cruise, has rebounded above the rest of the cruise sector,” said Ted Marzilli, CEO of BrandIndex.
There have been many reasons why Carnival has improved so much especially since its bad image regarding The Costa Concordia and then both Carnival Splendor and Carnival Triumph being stranded at sea. The cruise line has been launching dozens of new aboard programs to entice new bookings including Carnival Live and Seuss At Sea.
“We have worked very hard at Carnival over the past year to bring fresh programming and innovation to our ships while maintaining consistently smooth operational performance and the results of this latest BrandIndex data is a gratifying acknowledgement of those efforts,” said Gerry Cahill, president and CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines.
Carnival could continue launching new program across its fleet and help innovate the cruise industry. The Miami based cruise line has also been pushing out new tv ads and special offers to gain more bookings.
